Essential Question: How do students ask more and better questions?

Participant "I can" Targets
  • Participants can arrange activities that help their students participate in authentic interpersonal speaking activities.

Explanation:
Students form a circle. Student 1 asks a question of student 2, student 2 answers. Student 1 continues around the circle, asking the same question. Student 2 follows behind student 1, asking the same question. All students continue in this manner until they reach their original places in the circle. The remaining students continue on, so that all students have a chance to ask and answer questions. As the students progress, they can ask more and more varied questions so this activity will work with all levels.
